General Assembly of the World Assembly for the Proximity of Islamic Religions

 

A - Formation of the General Assembly Article Eight: Members of the General Assembly are elected by the Supreme Council for a period of six years from among scholars, thinkers and leaders of Islamic religions around the world who agree with the idea of ​​the rapprochement of Islamic religions. Article Nine: Membership of the members of the General Assembly is by proxy. Article Ten: The regular session of the General Assembly will be held every two years. If necessary, extraordinary sessions of the General Assembly will be convened with the approval of the Supreme Council. Article Eleven: The session of the General Assembly will be recognized with the presence of a majority of all members and the validity of the resolutions will be based on the opinion of the majority present at the session.

 

 B - Duties and Powers Article Twelve: The duties and powers of the General Assembly include: - Approving the internal regulations of the General Assembly. - Reviewing and commenting on the report of the Secretary General on the activities carried out. - Reviewing and making decisions on issues referred by the Supreme Council. - Investigating the general issues and problems of Islamic societies and providing solutions.
